Ce n’est pas Sherlock  Holmes mais Rosalind Franklin
Qui perça le mystère de ces fascinants brins.
Malgré la  découverte de l’hélicoïdale
Elle fut oubliée  au bas du piédestal.

Car la curieuse hélice de bases azotées
Gardait jalousement la clé de son secret.
Adénine et thymine, cytosine et guanine
Sont les instigatrices de noces bien coquines.

Autour de l’ADN, un incessant ballet
D’enzym’ polymérases qui vont synthétiser
Des fibres d’ARN s’éloignant du génome
Afin de lutiner les nombreux ribosomes.

Mesdames et messieurs, car je vous le confie
Au sein du cytoplasme il s’en passe de belles
Cela ne choque pas l’oeil des mitochondries
Qui content aux phosphates de jolies ritournelles.

De ces orgies discrètes des protéines naissent
S’enlaçant vivement en d’intenses caresses
Ces amours minuscules, ces petites romances
insufflent toute vie, créent toute existence .
